Meet the INstructors:
Marie is a member of the OBAC, SOBI and DGOB and has been teaching Ortho-Bionomy for the past 20 years and is an Certified Advanced Instructor, Practitioner and IT of Ortho-Bionomy.
Over the past 40 years, Marie has combined her life experiences and her studies of the holistic modalities including massage, Ortho-Bionomy, and a variety of Osteopathic approaches such as cranial, visceral, lymphatic and others that help to promote body balance. |
Marie has been working in Vernon BC since 2004 at Vital Path Health Centre after relocating from Edmonton AB, where she worked as a RMT. Her professional experience as a registered massage therapist opened the door to her search for more therapeutic approaches to whole body health. Marie’s personal wellness search brought her to the gentle and respectful Ortho-Body Balance approach that offers personal empowerment to her clients. Marie combines the comfortable variety of techniques refined through her life journey to support her clients in experiencing balance to enhance function and ease throughout the body.

Peggy first discovered Ortho-Bionomy through an article she read in a massage magazine and was inspired to attend one of Marie Long's very first classes in Vernon, British Columbia. This journey led to her evolvement to Advanced Practitioner and her own practice for the last 12 years, and now to the completion of her training as an Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy.
|
Through her love to learn and to help understand anatomy, body systems and nervous system she has undertaken extra training in Craniosacral, Visceral, and Self Regulation therapy. A Pilates Instructor for 20 years, she brings with her a unique and dynamic expression of her passions to share with the wider Ortho-Bionomy community, and the wider community as a whole.
